Album of Photographs of Coryton Park house and grounds
Album of 48 photos of Coryton Park house and grounds (1 interior) presented by Mrs Cornish Browne. Found in the church vestry. Annotation "These [photographs] of Coryton Park were given to the Kilmington PCC by the ex[ecut]ors of the late Mrs Lilian Cornish-Browne (died 1958). The original House was built by W Tucker of Westwater in 1697. His grandson Benedictus Marwood Tucker pulled down most of the old House and rebuilt it in 1756. It was finally demolished in 1953 with the exception of a small portion at the back. This record may be of interest to future generations." -
